All you need to know about the GMAT Exam
The Graduate Management Admissions Test or GMAT is a 3½ hour standardized test taken by graduates who are keen to study MBA programs. This test is designed to evaluate the potential of students by assessing their mathematical, verbal and analytical writing skills.

GMAT can be taken anytime all through the year. You need to book your GMAT appointment on www.mba.com. For a detailed step by step procedure on GMAT registration read our article “How to Book a Date for GMAT”.
The GMAT Exam costs US $250. If you are not prepared well enough and wish to reschedule the test , you need to do this 7 days in advance. Rescheduling costs $50.
When you take the test , you need to put in names of 5 MBA schools you plan to apply to. GMAC will directly send your scores to these schools. If you plan to apply to any school other than these five, you need to pay US $28 per school; so it is advisable to think about the school names beforehand and have a list ready.
